COVID-19 was unleashed on the nations but so was the Gospel.

“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely (Revelation 22:17 KJV).”

This is what it always was about, taking the Gospel message out beyond the inner courts. Now we have no choice.

I chose the picture of this hungry child and the woman giving him water because it gets my attention every time I see it. What has the Gospel Artist become? What has become of the industry? What has become of our churches?

I do not own the rights to this image and I am not sure who does.

We are all called to more than what we have been. What kind of worship leader am I, who is only effective on a stage? In the last three months, I’ve taken my guitar and my voice out to new places.

I took my instrument, my voice, and my spiritual gifts to the hospital where I sang healing and peace over my own children. I took it to my brother’s house where I sang healing and peace over him, his home, wife, and kids.

The picture floating around the internet of this starving child drinking water should hit home for all of us in more ways than one. We can’t sit in our safe houses, Netflix and binge eat, while the world starves.

There are many in the world starving physically but there are also many starving spiritually. Now, this Gospel we sing and preach is unleashed. And it’s for whosoever will.
